As we all know exams of CA Foundation/ Inter/IPCC & Final are going to be conducted in November. ICAI has released admit card for the same on its official website. It is a necessary document & students need to carry this to the exam hall in order to get an entry. Please note that without the admit card you will not be permitted to sit in the exam. 

The admit card is available only in online mode, ICAI will not send any hard copy of admit card by post. So you have to download your admit card online from official website icaiexam.icai.org. Reiterating what is said in the above paragraph, you have to download it & carry the printout in the examination centre. Please note guys you can download the admit card maximum three times, so you should be careful as you can not download it more than three times. We will suggest that you download the admit card and save the document in your local computer for further use and not download it, again and again, exhausting the download limit.

Steps to download ICAI Admit Card

In this article, we are sharing complete step by step procedure to download admit card so that you guys can download it without any hassle.

Step 1 – Visit the ICAI Website

Firstly, you guys need to visit the official website of ICAI for downloading your admit card i.e. icaiexam.icai.org. Students can click here to directly visit the official website of ICAI.

Step 2 – Login to your Dashboard

In the next step, you need to login on the dashboard using your registration no. & password. In case you don’t remember your password you can click on the forget password option to reset it.

Step 3 – Click on View Option

After successfully logging in to your account, you will see a new tab. On that tab, you have to click on the ‘View’ option in front of admit card.

When you click on that view option it will show your details like your Name, Registration Number (NRO/CRO/WRO/ERO/SRO), Exam etc. Click on the continue button to open your admit card.

 

Step 4 – Download Admit Card

After clicking on the continue button option your admit card will get open. It gets displayed on the screen, save it to your desktop & take the printout.

  • Name of the Student
  • Photo & Signature of student
  • Registration No. of student
  • Exam venue & timing
  • Postal Address of student

Change in Medium or Exam Centre

If you have chosen an incorrect medium of exam or centre or you want to change your medium of exam or exam centre you can change it through the correction window facility made available by ICAI. Correction window is available for free after 1 week of the last date of submission of exam form. 

If your request for change of details approved by ICAI & admit card is showing old details you also need to carry a copy of the approval letter issued by ICAI along with admit card to the examination centre.

1. My signature or picture is not there in the admit card. Is admit card valid?

Yes, admit card is valid. If your photo or sign is not visible on admit card, you can affix the sign & paste photo on the area marked on the admit card’s printout and then get this page attested by an ICAI institute member. Carry the same attested printout of the admit card to the examination centre, in duplicate, as proof of your identity.

2. Candidate has not received the physical admit card sent by post by ICAI. What should he do?

With the effect of May 2017 examinations, the practice of sending physical admit cards by post is discontinued. You are required to download your admit card from the ICAI website. Take a printout of it and carry the printout to the examination hall.
